The Koretan stream originates along the road Hruševje - Orehek. The water is of excellent quality, it is also used in the municipality of Postojna as a reserve drinking water. A number of smaller tributaries join him on his journey, but they do not significantly affect his wateriness. The stream is of a torrential nature and is rapidly flowing in the time of precipitation and flooding several times, which is its characteristic throughout the stream. As soon as it grows, it also quickly returns back to its streamline, which is natural and intact. Although the creek is smaller, in its pools and hideouts there are also some heavy brown trout that are in good shape and beautiful colors. Due to its nature and its passage in the vicinity of the stream, fishing is difficult primarily in the upper section, but when it rewards us with beautiful fish, the feeling is fantastic. In its surroundings, we see a kingfisher and many other wildlife.
